The EMEA Business Management group is part of the broader Office of the CFO department. This role will support all Lines of Businesses (LOBs) within JPMorgan Saudi Arabia Company and occasionally all the businesses operating within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As a Business Manager within the Finance and Business Management team, you will support the CEO in a trusted adviser capacity to formulate and execute JPMorgan’s franchise strategy in the country and optimize bottom line performance. You will be working closely with all LOBs and liaising with functional groups including, but not limited to front office teams, control functions, regional senior management, operations, finance, compliance, legal, tax, technology and HR. The role is expected to oversee and contribute to the execution of New Business Initiatives particularly relating to securities entity and more broadly JPMorgan’s operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and provide critical support to ensure timely delivery on the overall expansion agenda.
Job responsibilities
- Drive the development and execution of all LOBs business and growth strategies as well as the integrated country strategy in partnership with the LOB Heads, and CEO. Deputy / Secretary of the Local Management Committee (LMC) – ensure execution of the LMC agenda, comprehensive material for discussion, detail minutes and follow up on the action points. Provide effective governance through leadership/participation in the Local Operating Risk Control Committee.
- Support the Country Line of Business platforms, where applicable, including CIB (GB, Payments, Markets, SS), and AWM. Answerable to the Senior Business Manager, CEO and the SCO for all business related matters in the country.
- Leading the oversight of the client agenda. Understanding the target clients, gaps that exist and performance for each of the key clients. Manage deal pipeline maintenance, review and reporting including high quality performance information and value-add analysis.
- Review strategic opportunities that may enhance J.P. Morgan’s competitive positioning in the market. Produce and review of market analysis - league tables, wallet, and market share, etc. Implementing an infrastructure and support model to meet business needs
- In alliance with the Local Compliance Officer, represent the firm to the regulators and governmental authorities, maintaining strong relationships. Partner with internal audit, compliance and control organization to provide senior sponsorship for audits, regulatory examinations and associated remediation plans
- Ensure the availability, reporting, and consistency of the financial data in partnership with the International Country Reporting Team (including revenue/expense goals, actual performance, client planning and prioritization) and administer the sharing of financial reporting with the senior business leads including expense management and productivity opportunities
- Work to improve the client experience (in conjunction with regional initiatives) around client on-boarding, cross LOB client service issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
- Participate in global/regional initiatives as appropriate including leading the effort to prepare and execute JPM senior visitors’ agenda in the country. Lead in-country operating models optimization efforts including budgetary and capacity planning ensuring business growth is supported by robust infrastructure. Oversee the delivery of all New Business Initiatives throughout their life cycles including real estate planning & initiatives; from the assessment to post implementation review phase.
- Leadership responsibility for key support functions of JPMorgan Saudi Arabia Company. Contribute to the overall governance infrastructure including corporate governance through strong partnership with risk, legal, compliance, OTS, BSM, and location control managers. Risk Management in collaboration with EMEA and in-country Risk & Control Managers.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing initiatives including event management and country specific development program. Work with various groups to deliver the technology agenda.
- Act as a culture carrier in support of JPMorgan’s business principles and contribute to a healthy working environment. Develop, mentor and train junior staff to be the future leaders at JPMorgan. Support Human Resources head in recruiting, retaining and developing our people.

- Masters in Finance, Accounting, MBA, or equivalent qualification
- Relevant financial sector or financial sector consulting experience
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience within financial sector or consulting role
