We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Specialist / Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) sector, with a specific focus on the Saudi market. The successful candidate will have previous experience of engaging with a clients in CRE able to offer value add solutions & increase revenues from both existing client plus new client acquisition. The primary responsibility is to identify and resolve client pain points and develop and sell comprehensive, profitable solutions. The role requires a strategic approach, using structured sales methodologies utilizing CRM database tools and a deep understanding of Real Estate and Facilities Management service offerings, with the ability to integrate multiple product solutions, including tech-enabled services and Building Automation / Management Controls software.
Key Deliverables / Responsibilities:
· Achieve Sales Targets: Surpass individual annual sales booking quotas, meet target margins, and achieve in-year won and earned revenue targets for assigned accounts.
· Strategic Client Engagement: Engage in high-level strategic conversations with clients, advising them on how our client's offerings can address their business needs.
· In-depth Market Understanding: Comprehend all aspects of assigned customers globally, including market availability, market share, business objectives, goals, and technology landscape.
· Account Management: Develop and maintain accurate Account Plans and Share of Wallet data. Manage opportunities from early-stage pipeline through to Salesforce, ensuring accurate sales reporting.
· Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with client contacts across CRE, IT, and other departments, collaborating with our client's Client Account Team.
· Lead Sales Pursuits: Guide a client pursuit team to develop, sell, and contract products and solutions that meet client requirements. Lead contract negotiations to maximize profitability and manage risk.
· Product Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of our client's broad capabilities, recognizing opportunities to expand client relationships and share of wallet.
· Renewal & Expansion: Support the Sales Development pursuit leader in renewing contracts and introducing new products into solution strategies.
· Experience: 10+ years in sales or sales solutioning within a large, global organization, with extensive experience in Corporate Real Estate services, technologies, and solutions.
· Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships at the senior executive and C-Suite level within global Fortune 500 companies. Successful in developing opportunities and closing new business or expansion sales.
· Sales Methodology: Proficiency with structured sales processes and CRM tools.
· Client-Centric Approach: Ability to establish immediate credibility, present innovative ideas, challenge the status quo, and adapt approaches based on client feedback.
· Influential Leadership: Strong influential skills, capable of driving solutions across diverse stakeholders.
· Market Expertise: In-depth understanding of CRE Technologies, PropTech, IWMS, Smart Buildings, IoT, and Experience Technologies.
· Location: Candidates must have current / prior experience of the Saudi Real Estate Market & should be based currently or ready to relocate to Riyadh to be successful.
