Job Description

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding the patient base for a specialized multinational diabetes care clinic in Riyadh. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to develop and execute marketing, sales, and outreach strategies to position the clinic as a premier provider of diabetes care services.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Representation & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary representative of the company in dealings with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other governmental bodies to ensure compliance and strategic collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies to secure favorable agreements and ensure smooth patient coverage.
  • Develop partnerships with healthcare providers, hospitals, NGOs, and corporate organizations to enhance service offerings and referral networks.
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations, policies, and industry trends to ensure compliance and align business strategies accordingly.

2. Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a business development plan to increase patient inflow and expand clinic outreach.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including partnerships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and corporate wellness programs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.

3. Sales & Marketing

  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the clinic's online and offline presence, including digital marketing, social media, and community engagement.
  • Organize health awareness programs, events, and corporate health initiatives to promote diabetes care services.

4. Revenue & Financial Growth

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to increase service offerings and revenue streams.
  • Work with finance and operations teams to ensure cost-effective service delivery and competitive pricing models.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development and revenue generation.

5. Operational Support

  • Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve patient experience, operational efficiency, and service offerings.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.
