Key Accountabilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential projects within the facility management sector.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategic business development plans to drive growth and secure new contracts.
- Build strong client relationships and provide tailored facility management solutions that align with client needs.
- Lead and manage the entire process of joint ventures (JVs), partnerships, and consortiums, ensuring alignment with business goals and project execution.
- Identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and challenges within the facility management industry to proactively shape business strategies.
- Collaborate with senior management to forecast service and resource requirements for business growth.
- Review reports from subordinate managers to assess performance, address issues, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Set clear strategic objectives and define long-term goals to enhance business performance and expand market presence.
- Manage the end-to-end process for bids and Request for Proposals (RFPs), coordinating with internal departments to ensure all necessary qualifications and requirements are met.
- Identify and cultivate new partners to expand the company's network and support organizational growth.
- Develop and train the business development team to ensure they have the capacity to support the company's expansion and new projects.
- Actively participate in industry forums, conferences, and exhibitions to promote the company’s facility management services and establish new connections.
- Contribute to executive-level decision-making, providing insight and recommendations to drive business growth and improve operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development and project execution, particularly within the facility management industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing business development functions.
- Proven experience working with large-scale projects and top-tier contractors within the facility management sector.
- Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including top global contractors.
- Demonstrated success in securing joint ventures, partnerships, and consortiums.
- Hands-on experience in joint ventures, consortiums, and mergers within the facility management space.
- Proficient in the use of business development software and tools.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in both Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and drive results.
