Job Description

1. Strategy Development & Market Research:
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and emerging technologies in the media and entertainment sector (e.g., digital media, OTT platforms, content creation).
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape, analyze market shifts, and propose strategies to differentiate the company’s offerings.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term business development strategies that align with the company’s vision, goals, and Vision 2030 objectives.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local and international media companies, production houses, digital platforms, and government entities.
2. New Business Acquisition:
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business leads within the media, entertainment, and broadcasting sectors.
  • Pitching & Proposals: Lead the development and presentation of proposals and pitches to prospective clients and partners.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including media buyers, advertisers, content creators, and distributors.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Drive business negotiations, ensuring that all terms are favorable for the company while aligning with industry standards and local regulations.
3. Revenue Growth & Profitability:
  • Revenue Generation: Ensure the company achieves its revenue targets by identifying high-value business opportunities in advertising, content distribution, media rights, and partnerships.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients and partners.
  • Revenue Diversification: Identify and implement new revenue streams, such as licensing, syndication, branded content, or subscription models.
  • Cost Control: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure that business development activities are within budget while maximizing profitability.
4. Relationship Management:
  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional service.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with industry leaders, government bodies, and media authorities to stay updated on industry regulations and trends.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, marketing, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and projects.
5. Brand Positioning & Marketing:
  • Brand Awareness: Assist in building and enhancing the company’s brand presence in the market through effective partnerships and business ventures.
  • Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns and initiatives that increase brand visibility, promote services, and drive lead generation.
  • Media Relations: Foster relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to promote the company’s achievements, content, and strategic partnerships.
6. Compliance & Reporting:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about local media laws and regulations, ensuring that all business development efforts comply with Saudi media laws and Vision 2030 initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, revenue forecasts, partnership opportunities, and market conditions to senior management.
  • KPI Management: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
