The Business Analyst supports the sales team by providing administrative and organizational assistance. Provides bid generation support, manages and maintains sales funnel (forecasting), facilitates communication and sponsors department meetings. Communicates with vendors and customers and arranges for third party inspections. Track sales KPIs using software tools to improve the accuracy of the sales funnel and forecast. Tracks performance against metrics and performs sales incentive calculations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain and build analytical tools to assist the commercial organization in monitoring key performance to improve data quality
- Develop and publish weekly and monthly dashboards/score card and visual reports of KPI’s, providing context, analysis, and improvements on the drivers and performance when applicable
- Develop future capabilities to ensure continued improvement of CEPHEID Saudi Arabia’s data analytics, CRM, and KPI visibility/management
- Shape CEPHEID Saudi Arabia’s data management and analytics to support pursuit of CEPHEID Saudi Arabia’s Strategic Objectives
- Work with commercial team to address complex challenges related to CRM, data analytics, KPI, and market visibility
- Work closely with Danaher Dx Saudi Arabia’s DBSL to provide support and supplemental input to advance CEPHEID Saudi Arabia’s DBS maturity
- Acts as main point of contact for CRM and Power BI dashboards including delivering training to increase sales adoption among the field teams (specifically Sales and Service)
- Acts as main point of contact for Beckman’s SFDC team
- Serve as a liaison between commercial teams to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications or enhancements
- Deliver CRM training content via live instructor-led training, virtual live sessions, and eLearning that enhance the CRM learning process
- Proactively analyse data, identify trends to anticipate potential risk and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to department leaders.
- Participate in forecasting and S&OP meetings to ensure accurate planning and visibility
- Act as point of contact for sales team for un-forecasted demand of products
- Participate in Global stock allocation reviews: PSI lite, and quality status calls
- Anticipate business challenges and recommend improvements to enhance SIP effectiveness, ensure SIP motivates sales teams effectively and contributes to overall organizational success.
- Build effective SIP models by analysing key revenue drivers and align incentives with business objectives and drive performance.
- Create standard work and provide monthly update to the sales team on their SIP across KSA regions
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Data systems, Medical Technology or related field required
- 3+ years of working experience in CRM (Salesforce) and Business Intelligence tools (ex. Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) required
- Fluent English & Arabic
- Expert in Excel, Power BI (with programming skills) and strong appetence to systems.
- Proficiency with CRM system at the Administrator level or above; demonstrated by either company-issued certificate or a minimum of 3 yrs. hands-on experience required
- Data driven and analytical. Must enjoy data mining and digging into/analyzing numbers, capable of translating customer focused problems into data driven solutions.
- Possess strong analytical skills, pays close attention to detail and is a strong team player (i.e. no job is too small or too large) with an exceptional work ethic
- Excellent problem resolution skills, written and verbal communications skills, and consistently displays a high level of professional conduct
- Great data visualization and presentation skills to provide recommendations based on data insights.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proficient with online communication platforms (MS Teams, Zoom)
- Experience using MS Whiteboard or Miro
