Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of ITS Systems mainly on bus fleet: OBVS, APC, AVM and AFC systems to verify their proper operation.
• Monitor system alerts and logs to detect and resolve any potential issues or irregularities.
• Execute routine maintenance checks on ITS system hardware and software components.
• Identify and report system level faults and operational deficiencies.
• Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve and address system issues.
• Generate weekly reports that provide comprehensive coverage of system status, encountered challenges, and resolved solutions.
• Conduct a comprehensive system audit of all AVM/AFC systems to verify adherence to operational standards.
• Review and revise system documentation to accurately reflect any modifications or enhancements.
• Conduct Optimization and Performance Analysis, Software and Firmware Updates, Safety and Compliance Checks.
• Note this is a shift-based position which could include rosters involving evening and night shifts, and/or working during Fridays and Saturdays.

What we’re looking for

Qualification and Education Requirements

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or electronics.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft office software
• Data oriented mind with attention to details
• A minimum of good level of spoken and written English language
• Arabic language would be an advantage
