Job Description

Responsibilities:

Install, commission, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS).
Troubleshoot and repair BMS hardware, controllers, and sensors.
Program and configure BMS software for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.
Integrate third-party devices into BMS systems.
Monitor and optimize system performance to enhance energy efficiency.
Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure system reliability.
Interpret and update electrical and mechanical schematics.
Document system changes and provide user training.

Skills

Wiring and terminating controllers, sensors, and field devices.
BMS platforms like Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Siemens, or Tridium.
HVAC controls, VFDs, and energy management systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic and commissioning tools.
Knowledge of communication protocols (BACnet).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
Experience in managing system upgrades and expansions is a plus.
