BIM MODELER INFRASTRUCTURE (BRIDGES)

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Road BIM Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) specifically for road and highway infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop detailed 3D models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D models for bridges, ensuring that all components (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) are accurately represented.
• Collaborate with design engineers and other technical staff to translate 2D designs and concepts into detailed 3D BIM models.
• Create and manage models for all phases of the bridge project, from conceptual design through to construction and operation.
• Coordinate and integrate models from multiple disciplines to ensure a cohesive and error-free final model.
• Participate in regular project meetings, providing updates on model status, and collaborating with the team to resolve issues or conflicts.
• Ensure that all models adhere to project specifications, standards, and quality control requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of the bridge design into the overall project.
• Support project teams by providing technical advice on BIM modeling best practices and workflows.
• Assist in the creation of detailed drawings and plans as required for project submissions and client deliverables.
• Ensure all models are checked for compliance with BIM standards and project specifications. Produce
• Produce accurate reports, documentation, and presentations related to the bridge models.
• Support the preparation of model-based simulations, clash detection, and quantity take-offs.
• Utilize BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and others for model creation, coordination, and analysis.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in BIM technology and software updates.

Key Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in 3D modeling, clash detection, and BIM coordination
• Experience working on large-scale bridge or infrastructure projects is highly desirable
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
