Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
DESCRIPTION
Auditor Selection
§ Contribute to the process of defining and developing criteria and attributes which will detriment the effective and efficient selection of Local Content auditors to ensure having qualified auditing firms to conduct Local Content audits.
§ Contribute to the process of defining and developing criteria to decide when to disqualify an auditing firm and remove it from the qualified list.
§ Contribute to the process of selecting new auditors to be part of the approved audit firms as per the developed criteria
Auditor Relations
§ develop and maintain relationships with auditors and Local Content auditing firms, ensure the best interests of LCGPA and represent the authority in a professional manner at all times.
§ answer the Audit firms’ inquiries and providing needed support when asked.
§ hold periodic workshops to raise awareness and update the approved audit firms with the latest local content matters.
§ develop and maintain a criteria to evaluate the performance of the approved audit firms and take corrective actions as needed to ensure all LCGPA needs and requirements are achieved.
Performance and Training
§ Support in building and developing a local content training program, including training materials and exams preparation, to qualify audit firms, in coordination with the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants and other training centers approved by LCGPA.
§ Build appropriate auditor on boarding and training material to ensure that the auditors are well informed of Local Content scoring methods and Local Content requirements.
§ review and update of the training material and questions.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§ Prepare timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
