Audiovisual Technician ( AV Technician )

Audio Video

- Collecting information from team leader for installation site.

- Preparing Site & arranging requested material for mobilization on installation site.

- Pulling cables, fixing & Soldering Connectors.

- Labelling all AV cables as per standards.

- Fixing all AV equipment according to project plan.

- Labelling of all AV equipment.

- Operating, aligning, calibrating all AV cable & equipment’s.

- Testing, commissioning and troubleshooting all AV cable & equipment’s.

- Adhere to the safety standard of site installation.

- Cleaning & Maintaining the installation site

Network & Fiber

- Ability to fusion or mechanical splice SM or MM fiber optic cables, also to terminate various types of

fiber optic connectors (ST, SC, LC)

- Installation and testing of pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and s of cable.

• Experience and knowledge using Fiber Optic Scope and or a Fiber OTDR.
• Installation and dressing of fiber optic cables (vertical/horizontal).
• Ability to read splicing diagrams and designs to facilitate network architecture.
• Able to perform splicing on a live Fiber cables.
• Experience in preparation/splicing of Joint-enclosures/Torpedoes.
• surveying work sites to determine the best installation practices.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
