Job Description

System Installation and Setup:

  • Installation: Set up and install AV equipment, including audio systems, video displays, projectors, microphones, and control panels, according to specifications and project requirements.
  • Configuration: Configure AV systems to ensure optimal performance, including setting audio levels, adjusting video settings, and programming control systems.

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on AV equipment to ensure reliable operation, including cleaning, inspecting, and updating software as needed.
  • Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair AV equipment and systems, diagnosing technical issues and replacing faulty components to restore functionality.

Technical Support:

  • Event Support: Provide technical support during events and meetings, ensuring that AV systems function properly and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve technical problems with AV equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to events and operations.

Client and Stakeholder Interaction:

  • Client Interaction: Work with clients or internal stakeholders to understand their AV needs and ensure that their requirements are met.
  • Feedback Handling: Gather and respond to client feedback to improve AV services and address any concerns or issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Reporting: Provide reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered to supervisors or management.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all AV installations and operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow and enforce safety protocols related to the handling and operation of AV equipment.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Technology Awareness: Stay informed about the latest advancements in AV technology and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance system performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest ways to improve AV processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
