Job Description

Strategic Leadership:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement the organization’s audio-visual strategy, aligning it with overall business goals and technological advancements.
  • Policy Creation: Establish and enforce policies and procedures for the management and use of audio-visual systems.

Project Management:

  • Project Oversight: Lead and manage AV projects, including system design, installation, and integration.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for AV projects and operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions and financial efficiency.
  • Timeline Management: Create and oversee project timelines, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.

Team Leadership:

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AV engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Training: Provide training and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

System Design and Implementation:

  • Design Oversight: Oversee the design and specification of AV systems, including audio, video, and control systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs and standards.
  • Installation and Integration: Manage the installation and integration of AV systems, ensuring functionality and compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Maintenance and Support:

  • System Maintenance: Ensure the ongoing maintenance and support of AV systems, including regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for AV systems and assist with resolving complex issues.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with AV equipment vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and services.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all AV equipment and services meet quality standards and organizational requirements.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that AV systems comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce safety protocols related to the use and maintenance of AV equipment.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Internal Collaboration: Work with other departments and stakeholders to understand their AV needs and provide solutions that enhance their operations.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with internal customers to gather feedback and ensure that AV systems meet their requirements and expectations.

Innovation and Improvement:

  • Technology Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AV technology and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving AV processes and systems to enhance efficiency and performance.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of AV systems, including designs, configurations, and maintenance records.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on AV system performance, project progress, and budget status to senior management.
