You’ll be responsible for:
Leads the delivery of the stakeholder management team/s on the assigned commissions.
supports the hub PMO and project control director with resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission.
Accountable for the stakeholder management service performance on assigned commissions.
Designs effective stakeholder management communications service frameworks.
Manages and directs clients, consultants, contractors, project team on all stakeholder management service matters.
Provides expert technical advice and builds strong professional relationships with client organisations.
Acts as the subject matter expert on assigned projects.
Leads and directs team in the administration of all related processes including managing change, risks, issues and reporting to achieve key objectives and the escalation of performance and management issues.
Ensures all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace control centre, client requirements and prevailing regulations and legislation.
Provides line management to more junior team members and other project staff as required.
Utilises expertise to mentor and assist the personal and career development of team.
Innovates and aligns with industry best practice to ensure continued service excellence.
Manages a team of professional roles (and may include support roles), driving performance and results, whilst delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
Relevant degree qualification.
Excellent communications skills.
A hunger for learning and ambition to grow.
Professional membership i.e., APM, PMP, CIOB or working towards demonstrable professional or personal development.
Proven experience as stakeholder and communications services leader delivering a range of project management services on major construction programmes.
Significant experience of effective leadership across the team.
Extensive knowledge of functional best practices, processes and current trends, on significant construction projects.
Expert knowledge of relevant methodologies, processes, tools, techniques and software.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
