Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opening for the role of Associate Director – Media & Technology (Theme Parks). In this innovative position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the multimedia and technological experiences that will define Qiddiya’s theme parks, integrating cutting-edge technology with immersive media.


Leads the design, development, and integration for all scopes related to advanced technological systems and experiential digital media content.


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates leadership behaviors, in line with the Qiddiya Values, at all times. 
  • Manages the team’s deliverables through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance. 
  • Leads media & technology development progress reporting and analytics, highlighting risks and mitigations strategies.  
  • Leads key processes related to procurement strategy, tendering, and contract management and works with internal parties to develop necessary documentation and required scope inputs.
  • Maximizes collaborative working relationships with various internal departments and external parties to effectively manage the required interfaces to reach the stated goals within the project program.
  • Leads media and technology development in coordination with external media and technical consultants from concept through to site integration stages ensuring conformity to the project stated objectives, and in line with Ways of Working (WOW). 
  • Reviews and provides recommendations on design and integration packages related to audio-visual, special effects, specialist lighting, game development and interactives, advanced technology, etc.
  • Leads the media review, approval, and sign off process by all stakeholders such as IP, Park Operations, LDC, QIC Creative, Creative Guardianship consultants, etc.  
  • Leads critical mock-ups and workshops in coordination with external consultants and contractors to mitigate possible design and integration issues. 
  • Ensures quality assurance processes are in place to review media and technology deliverables.  
  • Ensures consultant submittals are compliant with design specifications and according to the cost/business and operational plan.
  • Leads the media team in overseeing the on-site installation and integration activities for media, audio-visual, show systems, and advanced technology contractors to ensure commercial, technical, and creative compliance with the project objective. 
  • Supports other QIC districts with media and technology development requests as required by the business.
  • Prepares and leads strategic, creative, and technical presentations to internal senior management as required by the business.
