Associate Director Commercial Finance



Job Description



Purpose of the job`
To provide financial and commercial expertise to the commercial team, to help them achieve their objectives. This will involve providing financial analysis, insights, and solutions to support commercial decision-making, as well as working closely with the commercial team to develop and implement financial plans and strategies.

Key Accountabilities



Commercial Accounts Management
Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements relating to Commercial
Manage and reconcile on a monthly basis all major Commercial expense items
Manage the quarterly and annual audits at the Commercial
Maintain and enhance the internal control environment in the Commercial
Develop policies and procedures relating to Commercial accounts.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support commercial decision-making.
Develop and implement financial plans and strategies for the commercial team.
Work closely with the commercial team to manage and optimize costs.
Monitor and analyze commercial performance.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
Provide financial support to commercial projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements



Educational level: Minimum bachelor’s degree in commerce / Accounting
Specific diploma/ courses: e.g. professional qualification like CFA, CMA, MBA is preferable
Minimum experience: 12-15 years of relevant experience in a large Manufacturing organization, preferably in the Food industry.
Languages: Fluent in English. Understanding of Arabic will be an advantage.
Good understanding of an ERP environment
Fully conversant with Commercial accounts
Ability to manage a staff of diverse nationality mix
Advanced proficiency with MS Office
