Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Business Director to join our Spark Foundry team in Riyadh. This talent will be responsible for client delivery and implementation planning; representing the agencies briefs and values whilst inspiring others to do the same. 


A) Knowledge:


  • To develop a client education & knowledge enhancement program in terms of media.
  • Excellent grasp of communications strategy with a full understanding of how advertising works and key advertising principles.
  • A full understanding of the agency's thinking model and the ability to activate it.
  • Possess thorough client knowledge – also client’s market and competitors information.
  • Expertise in all research data, including client research such as: Sales Data, Awareness tracking, Competitive Data etc..
  • Understands clients overall business and marketing objectives displaying a sound knowledge of all media.
  • A thorough knowledge of the media marketplace and opportunities available and build constructive relationships with key media owners where relevant.

B) Skills:


  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills, strong selling skills, strong on numeracy, literacy and accuracy.
  • People management skills and constructive feedback delivering ability.
  • Have breadth and depth of experience and tangibly demonstrate this in all aspects of your work.

C) Product:


  • To develop and sell communication plans either as the lead planner or as part of a planning team, depending on the size and complexity of the business.
  • To ensure internal & external marketing of the agency's work in the regional and international awards.

D) People:


  • To monitor day to day aspects of junior employees’ work to ensure high quality output.
  • To provide on the job training and learning opportunities for junior employees in your teams.
  • A good rapport with Publicis Groupe colleagues across all divisions, clients, other agencies and media owners.
  • Responsible for the day to day workings of the client team offering support, training and insight to team members.

Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in media planning (online & offline), luxury apparel/lifestyle or telecom industry experience a plus
  • Fluent in Arabic and English 
  • Strong client servicing skills
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead a team
  • Strong organizational skills, team player, ability to multitask, and work under pressure
  • Experience in business development, and industry representation
  • Possess strong communication skills, selling skills, strong on numeracy, literacy and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of digital media and emerging technologies
  • In-depth commercial acumen, able to drive ROI for both business partners and agency while being efficient and effective
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office 365 software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of various industry digital planning tools such as DV360, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Snap Chat Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager.
