Job Purpose:
As the Assistant Trade and Operator Marketing Manager, you will act as the liaison between Marketing, Operators, and Trade Partners. You will bridge the gap between our Global and Local strategies by activating various marketing plans and platforms, working closely with our Customer Development (CD) team to drive reach and penetration of our portfolio.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Develop and implement trade and operator marketing strategies.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer preferences.
Design and execute promotional programs to drive sales and brand awareness.
Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing initiatives with their objectives.
Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all marketing materials.
Develop programs that engage food service customers through tastings, events, or culinary competitions.
Manage budgets for marketing initiatives and measure ROI.
Work with other departments to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and present findings to senior management.
Oversee execution and support for our eComm business and 3p distributors.
Ensure all website content is complete and updated.
Develop asset creation and support material for marketing programs.
Gather market data and insights to improve our operator end-to-end experience.
Deliver Trade Operator & eCom Business Targets for Turn Over, Reach & Penetration.
Plan, execute, track, and optimize operator buying experiences.
Craft relevant, need-based campaigns and conduct post-campaign evaluations.
Drive Perfect Store Online and Offline with Top 10 SKU focus.
Manage relationships with trade partners and operators.
Create and implement trade active reselling programs.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
5 years’ experience in Marketing in the FMCG Foodservice industry.
Deep understanding of sales/marketing funnels and customer buying journeys.
Ability to create persuasive content across various channels.
Proficiency in Marketo, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Great attention to detail, comfort with data, and strong project management skills.
Agile, resilient, and driven to find insights and collaborative solutions.
Curious, courageous, and willing to think outside the box.
Strong negotiation skills.
Digital & Data Tools:
Proficiency in Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Marketo, and Sales Force
Candidate Criteria:
5 years of working experience in Trade and Operator Marketing, or a similar function in FMCG.
Understanding of key metrics for offline & online Trade and Operator Marketing & eCom.
Passion for Food and the Out of Home industry.
Desirable:
Digital marketing foundation and industry knowledge for Out of home Operator Groups & Trade Customers.
Skills:
Good understanding of different shopping missions, operator lifecycle, and buying journeys.
Business acumen and ability to generate insights with 3rd party data.
Customer centricity and content creation skills.
Advanced joint omnichannel campaign planning skills.
Ability to build value propositions to engage Trade Partners.
