Position Overview:
The Assistant to the Marketing Director provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Marketing Director and the Marketing department. This position involves managing schedules, coordinating marketing activities, conducting research, and ensuring effective communication within the department and with external partners.
Coordination and Project Management:
Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and events.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and activities.
Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Prepare reports and presentations to inform the Marketing Director of project status.
Market Research:
Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Compile and analyze data to support marketing strategies and decisions.
Prepare research reports and summaries for the Marketing Director.
Content and Social Media:
Assist in creating, editing, and publishing marketing content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters.
Monitor social media channels and engage with followers as needed.
Help develop content calendars and ensure timely content publishing.
Budget and Financial Management:
Assist in managing the marketing budget, including tracking expenses and processing invoices.
Prepare budget reports and assist with financial analysis.
COMMUNICATION AND LIAISON:
Serve as a point of contact between the Director of Marketing and other departments, clients and vendors.
Facilitate effective internal and external communication to ensure coordination and collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a marketing or executive position preferred.
Experience with project management and digital marketing tools preferred.
