The Assistant Project Manager, (APM), (On & Off-site Projects) reports to the Project Manager, (PM), (Communities Off-site Professional & Support Facilities), and is responsible for overseeing the Contractor and service providers ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Project and Site Facilities. This includes safeguarding a high caliber of project management is provided within NEOM THE LINE Site Facilities by the Contractor and service providers. The PM will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality Facilities Services that meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and the needs of the employees on site. This is a NEOM client site-based role in KSA.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the PM, (Communities Off-site Professional & Support Facilities), in creating the development of Project Management processes and procedures for Facilities Services in alignment with other such processes and procedures within NEOM THE LINE Site Welfare Services.
  • Work with internal partners, the Contractor and service providers to create office workspace plans, including furniture selections, space allocations, layouts and implement strategies while ensuring adherence and compliance with NEOM strategy, policy, departmental goals and commitments.
  • Responsible for assisting in managing and overseeing the Contractor and service providers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Site Welfare Facilities. This includes but is not limited to the management and delivery of Welfare Facilities such as dining facilities, break-out/rest areas, W-Cs/toilets, office spaces and cleaning services.
  • Responsible for assisting in managing and overseeing the Contractor and service providers in all aspects of maintenance and security of the Office spaces and equipment.
  • Evaluate employee satisfaction and develop programs to improve employee Welfare.
  • Assess and take steps in accordance with the Statement of Work, (SoW), that ensures the Contractor and service providers are responding to inquiries in accordance with the SoW.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance technicians, engineers, and service delivery staff, to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain customer confidence by ensuring confidentiality of company data as required.
  • Analyze, summarise, and interpret data; make appropriate recommendations and decisions related to document management, write reports, and give oral presentations, as required.
  • Assist PM to Plan, organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks to perform job functions in an orderly manner.
  • Ability to manage and drive service delivery staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in meetings and communicating updates and information to team members and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the Head of Site Welfare Facilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:


  • Knowledge of ALL principles and processes involved in supporting and delivering Site Welfare Services and providing excellent customer service.
  • Previous experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Welfare Facilities Services across various construction sites.
  • High level of experience in Facility and Project Management and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to provide step-by-step detailed advice and solutions for remedying failures in service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to articulate clearly and concisely. English proficiency is required (both written and oral).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, Google Suite and Facility Management Software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
  • Professional maturity and irreproachable integrity are obligatory.

Qualifications: 


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Facility Management or related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in managing projects, including Site Welfare Facilities Management and delivery experience for large projects, overseas and / or military facilities.
