Job Description

Ready for a sizzling career move? You will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic team. The food you prepare, cook and serve makes our guests smile and wanting more.


About the role:


  • Report to the Pastry Chef
  • Assist the supervision of pastry team & operations.
  • Check and prepare the required mise-en-place according to orders.
  • Prepare food items & execute requests based on required specifications.
  • Maintain food inventory and preparation handling & correct storage standards.
  • Monitor the proper handling and storage of all produce to keep spoilage to a minimum.
  • Prepare recipes of new items for costing and verify cost analysis of each dish.
  • Report any equipment issues to Pastry Chef and Engineering Team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in an international luxury brand. 
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal).
  • Working knowledge of HACCP.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
  • Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
