Job Description

Qiddiya Investment Company is pioneering the next generation of entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - General Ledger to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee and ensure the accuracy and integrity of general ledger accounts, enabling the organization to achieve its financial objectives.


Your contributions will play a crucial role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. By collaborating with various departments, you will help in the continuous improvement of our financial processes and reporting capabilities.


Responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily activities of the general ledger team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of accounting entries.
  • Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries while maintaining proper documentation.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Generate financial reports, providing insights and analysis to management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support the audit process.
  • Assist in developing and implementing improved financial processes and controls.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
