We are seeking an experienced Architectural / Finishing QA/QC Engineer to join our team on the Tunnel Construction MEP Fit-Out project in Riyadh. The role requires a detail-oriented Architecture with extensive knowledge of quality assurance and quality control practices in construction, particularly in tunnel and MEP projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all architectural works adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance & Control: Oversee and implement quality control measures for all architectural aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
Technical Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify that works meet approved drawings and specifications.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and manage QA/QC documentation, including inspection records, material approvals, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Coordination: Collaborate closely with project teams, including Parsons (PMC) and AECOM (Consultant), to address any quality-related issues and facilitate timely project progression.
Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and report any non-conformances or deviations from project standards, working proactively with contractors to resolve issues.
Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international codes and standards related to architectural works of construction within the project.
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering is a MUST
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in QA/QC roles on similar large-scale projects.
Proven experience in tunnel construction or MEP fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, construction materials, and industry standards.
Experience is not limited to; Al types of finishing; water proofing systems; Block, Plaster, Painting, Glazing, Curtain walls, Door (Fire & Non Fire) including hardware, rolling shutter, tiles, curbstone,… etc.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Certification in QA/QC management is a plus (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 9001:2015)
