Job Description:
Currently, we are looking to hire an experienced Architectural Engineer to join our team who will be carrying out the following:
Develop and implement projects execution strategies and ensure implementation of projects on time and within budget
Lead engineering team on and off site
Supervise monitor and report project progress throughout the project cycle to ensure on time completion
Lead project progress meetings and coordinate with other departments
Manage Cash Flow Requirements for the Projects. Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.
Monitor, verify and enforce specification compliance of materials at various stages of project.
Manage material and manpower requirements.
Perform preparation of invoices, variance and claims and client follow up.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractors.
Prepare submittals for materials, shop drawings, time schedule and manpower organization.
Ensured a positive work environment and awareness by all staff at the site of project goals and objectives.
Undertaking site surveys and setting out sites
Preparation of BOQs based on technical design drawings, shop drawings and project specifications
Supervising both foremen and subcontractors
Act as a liaison with clients, subcontractors and engineers of other disciplines
Providing technical advise and solutions for problems on site
Prepare site reports and other documentation
Quantifying material for purchasing
Prepare progress payments
The ideal candidate is to have a minimum 8 years of on-site, fit-out experience in the Middle East, dealing with materials mentioned above as well as the following skills and qualifications:
Proven work experience as a project architect
Capable of reading technical design drawings and/or shop drawings and translating them on site
Well adept and proficient in engineering and graphic software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, 3D MAX, Lumion, and Photoshop
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Ability to build and maintain productive business professional relationships
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record
Excellent communication and people management skills
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Bachelors in Engineering (Architecture)
PMP certificate is a plus
Must be able to speak fluently and idiomatically in both English and Arabic
Transferable Saudi work permit/iqama
