Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Architectural Design Engineer with in-depth knowledge of design and 3D rendering software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and Revit (BIM for building). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, visualization, and the ability to work with 4D and 5D models.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural designs, layouts, and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and Revit.
- Create high-quality 3D visualizations and animations for design presentations, providing clients with realistic views of architectural concepts.
- Apply BIM methodologies using Revit for building design, ensuring coordination and integration with other design disciplines (structural, mechanical, etc.).
- Work with 4D models to incorporate project timelines into the design process, visualizing the project’s construction sequence.
- Utilize 5D modeling to integrate cost estimation and management, helping clients track project budgets and financials alongside design.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure seamless project coordination and successful outcomes.
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments to ensure project viability and sustainability.
- Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide technical support and resolve design-related challenges throughout the construction phase.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and architects in using design tools and software.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with proven expertise in 3D rendering and modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and Revit (BIM).
- Experience with 4D modeling and 5D modeling.
- Strong understanding of BIM for architectural design and its application in building projects.
- Excellent design, visualization, and technical drawing skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions and internal collaboration.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and innovation.
