About the job ARCHITECTURAL BIM COORDINATOR

Architecture BIM Coordinator with a focus on fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate the design, planning, and execution of fit-out works, working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met within budget and on schedule. The role requires strong communication skills, in-depth knowledge of architectural fit-out processes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Fit-Out Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate all aspects of architectural fit-out projects, ensuring that all design and construction elements are aligned with client specifications, regulations, and timelines.
  • Design Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between architects, interior designers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of design intent with practical implementation.
  • Documentation and Drawings: Review and prepare design documents, drawings, and specifications related to fit-out works, ensuring compliance with local regulations, project requirements, and client preferences.
  • Site Supervision: Attend site meetings, conduct site visits, and ensure that fit-out works are executed in accordance with the architectural design and quality standards. Monitor and resolve site issues as they arise.
  • Project Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that fit-out works are completed on time and within budget.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control the budget for fit-out works, including cost estimates, procurement, and value engineering.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of work is in accordance with approved design and specifications, reviewing materials and finishes for compliance with standards.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and subcontractors to procure necessary materials and finishes, ensuring timely delivery and installation as per the design and project timeline.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all fit-out works comply with relevant building codes, health & safety regulations, and environmental sustainability standards.
  • Client Communication: Provide regular updates and status reports to clients, addressing any concerns or changes in scope, schedule, or budget.

Key Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture coordination with a focus on fit-out projects. Experience in managing the design and execution of office, retail, commercial, or hospitality fit-outs is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of architectural and interior design principles, construction methods, materials, and finishes.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Project Management: Strong understanding of project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues in design coordination, site management, or execution.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Fit-Out Regulations: Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards specific to fit-out works.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability: Understanding of sustainable design practices and environmental regulations.
