ARCHITECT ENGINEER

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team for design development projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality architectural shop drawings in-house and reviewing shop drawings submitted by subcontractors to ensure they meet project standards and specifications. This role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural solutions effectively.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and produce detailed architectural shop drawings in-house, ensuring they align with project design intent, specifications, and standards. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with architectural plans and client requirements.
• Review and assess shop drawings submitted by subcontractors to ensure they meet project specifications, design criteria, and quality standards. Identify discrepancies, provide feedback, and coordinate with subcontractors for necessary revisions
• Collaborate with structural, civil, and MEP engineers, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure the seamless integration of architectural solutions into overall project designs. Address coordination issues to optimize design efficiency.
• Ensure all architectural work adheres to relevant local codes, regulations, and project-specific requirements, including Saudi Building Codes and applicable international standards.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of work. Conduct thorough checks on all drawings, ensuring consistency and compliance with design guidelines.
• Provide design input and make necessary modifications to architectural plans based on site conditions, design development, or client requirements. Ensure all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all shop drawings, reviews, and revisions. Ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible for project teams and stakeholders.
• Provide on-site support during construction phases, addressing any architectural issues that arise. Ensure that the execution aligns with approved shop drawings and design intent.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; a Masters Degree is a plus.
• Candidates MUST be immediately available
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design development, shop drawings production, and review.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with quality control and assurance processes for architectural drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
