Job Description
The Applications Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers to design, develop, and support application solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, ensuring technical excellence, and providing mentorship to team members. The role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The manager will also engage with customers to understand requirements and deliver innovative, high-quality applications.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of application engineers. Manage project timelines and deliverables. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements. Ensure technical excellence and adherence to best practices. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of applications. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Lead and continuously develop the technical proposal, focusing on safe and efficient activities. Hold overall responsibility for the technical and application processes of NOV Completions. Identify, develop, and maintain robust processes, routines, and systems to ensure the highest level of quality in customer-facing activities. Lead team of engineer to create proposals for new technologies for client technical teams. Lead investigations and prepare investigation reports. Engage with the global product liner on the development of new technologies. Apply lessons learned related to completion technologies at the location level. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and partners. Define main strategic customer and technology targets. Achieve business growth and meet targets related to Liner Hanger technologies. Actively participate in company strategic planning, budgeting, and resource planning activities. Plan and prioritize participation in relevant conferences and exhibitions. Stay competent and informed about the local market status, opportunities, customer analysis, and competitor analysis. Develop and maintain strong relations with relevant internal stakeholders.

Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience in application development and project management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate individuals and teams Proficient in the English language, both written and oral Excellent planning ability and implementation capacity Proven ability to drive technical process Thorough knowledge of well construction, completion and intervention principles and operations Excellent understanding of the customer decision making process in well completion and intervention matters High degree of order and responsibility towards colleagues, customers, and partners Strong technical sense Structured & self-motivated with a drive to succeed * Good organizational and social skills
