In this role, you will manage the PR & Communications section activities, in order to ensure and deliver on the Department’s mandate and identify improvement opportunities that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for:
Assisting in development of an integrated PR campaign strategy in the cluster to ensure effective STA brand and communication to several stakeholders
Developing creative briefs with detailed guidelines for PR campaigns in line with set strategies and budgets
Developing and implementing a proactive program calendar of media targeting and liaison to support the approved PR plans in the cluster
Participating in promotional activities necessary to drive awareness of the STA Brand in the cluster
Supporting in presentations, press conferences and interviews when needed
Rendering support with daily management of local agencies to fulfil plans, creative, production, print, media buy, PR, communication and activation that achieve ROI requirements per campaign
Performing other activities as and when required
You will need
At least 6 years of experience in PR and communications or other relevant field
A bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications or equivalent is preferred
