Job Summary:

The Airport Operation Liaison Manager will be responsible for leading the development, management, and implementation of processes to effectively manage interactions with all KSIA Airport Operational stakeholders. The stakeholders (internal and external entities) include (but are not limited to) KSIA Operations (Terminal, Airside, and Landside), air carriers, ground handlers, airport security, etc. Your primary responsibility will be to nurture and sustain relationships with these stakeholders throughout the project's duration, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. 
 




Major Responsibilities:
  •  Regulatory Compliance Facilitation: Ensure adherence to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) regulations and standards, acting as a resource for compliance-related inquiries.
  • Security Authority Engagement: Act as the main liaison and interface point of contact with relevant security and aviation authorities, ensuring compliance and fostering effective collaboration.
  • Establish Processes and Procedures: Develop and implement processes and procedures to effectively manage engagement and communication with Airport Operations stakeholders.
  • Develop RACI Matrix: Create a Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) Matrix to clarify roles and responsibilities and establish a division of responsibilities (DoR) for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Communication: Ensure structured communication between workstreams, client departments, and internal and external stakeholders, and project teams to promote alignment and collaboration.
  • Delivery Liaison: Coordinate with different Project teams, attend meetings to ensure smooth communication and progress on various activities in relation to Airport Operations.
  • Lead Workshops and Meetings: Coordinate and facilitate workshops, meetings (both online and face-to-face), and working groups, ensuring accurate recording of meeting minutes. 
  • Attend Meetings and Track Actions: Participate in weekly and monthly meetings for all projects, tracking required actions from stakeholders and following up on progress.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions and project developments, and all stakeholder approvals.
  • Report Project Status: Keep the Stakeholder Manager informed of potential delays in project completion or milestones.
  • Perform Related Duties: Undertake any other related duties and responsibilities consistent with the job title/position.
     


Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or international equivalent) and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or aviation management (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience.
  • Aviation Experience: Prior experience and background in aviation operations is required.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Prior stakeholder engagement on large-scale programs with multiple internal and external stakeholders is required.

  • Analytical Proficiency: Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems.
  • Conflict Management: Proven ability to manage conflict in high-pressure situations.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong writing and communication skills.
