1.Installs,
inspects, repairs, operates, troubleshoots, overhauls and modifies aircraft oxygen, heating, air conditioning, cabin
pressurization, anti-icing, air turbine, engine bleed air distribution and fire
extinguisher system, components and associatedequipment; services, inspects, overhauls; performs intermediate
maintenance on cryogenic storage containers.
2. Advises
on technical problems of repair, overhaul, modification and installation of
aircraft environmental systems.
3. Installs,
repairs, overhauls, and modifies aircraft environmental systems and components.
4. Performs
intermediate maintenance on cryogenic storage containers.
5. Perform
On-the-Job Training (OJT) for assigned trainees.
6. Documents
all maintenance actions as prescribed by established procedures.
7. Performs
acceptance inspections on newly assigned aircraft/equipment.
8. Orders
and receives parts.
1. Requires
a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in RSAF AFSC 242X2 of which two (2)
years must be at the seven (7) level.
2. Qualification
as an F-15 Aircraft Electrical and Environmental System Mechanic is mandatory.
3. In
addition, experience in performing or supervising functions such as the
installation, repair, or modification of aircraft electrical and environmental
systems is mandatory.
