Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Principal Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The AMI Principal Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced metering solutions to enhance the efficiency of utilities in managing and monitoring energy consumption.
This position requires an in-depth understanding of AMI technologies, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including utility companies and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of AMI projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Work closely with utility stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the successful deployment of AMI solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for AMI implementations.
- Oversee the integration of smart meters and associated technologies into existing utility systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and functionality of AMI systems.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure quality deliverables and adherence to project specifications.
- Stay current with evolving AMI technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops for utility staff on AMI operations and management.
