The RoleIn this position you will work with our AspenTech Digital Grid Management product development teams, systems engineering teams, project delivery teams, and utility customers. Design and develop standard ADMS solution architectures used for customer systems and projects. Lead and facilitate ADMS system integration design and development. Document, train, and provide subject matter expertise on the ADMS system.

- Understanding ADMS customer solution needs.
- Understanding ADMS system security concepts and needs.
- Designing and developing standard ADMS system architectures, based on the ADMS product and platform architectures and customer solution needs.
- Staying abreast of ADMS product developments (e.g., new features, functions, products), and determining how best to introduce and deploy in a standard, reliable manner.
- Development of customer-facing workshop and training material on ADMS system integration (i.e., interfaces).
- Leading workshops with our ADMS customers to capture interface use cases, conduct data mapping exercises; and create interface design documents to enable the customer’s integration efforts.
- Working with the project delivery and product development teams to troubleshoot and diagnose integration-related issues (both in-house and as part of customer projects when needed).
- Providing insights and guidance for improvements and optimizations for consideration as part of product roadmaps.
- Provide training and subject matter expertise on ADMS system architecture and integration for our project teams, ISP teams, and customers.
What You'll Need
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or related degree from an accredited college/university.
- 8+ years of systems analysis, database concepts and systems design experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with both Linux and Windows systems, in both physical and virtual environments.
- Comfortable working with system APIs and interfaces (RESTful, SOAP, file, real-time, batch).
- Familiarity with relational (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) Database technologies.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell and/or Python.
- Strong knowledge of utility business processes, workflows, and systems preferred.
The salary range for this role is $115,100 to $143,900. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
