Job Description
Job Purpose / Objective
- Provide support and assistance in implementation of quality improvement initiatives, continuous education, training, monitoring and audits based on national and international healthcare accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Coordinate the implementation of the policies, procedures and plan of the hospital based on national and international healthcare standards.
- Provide assistance in implementation of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan and implementation of National/ International Healthcare Accreditation Standards.
- Participate and coordinate the education and training to all staff on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
- Support the processes improvement (Quality Improvement) for all the department in coordination with department coordinators based on the approved criteria.
- Support the team in preparing Quality Indicators as per the national/ international healthcare requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor compliance with national and international hospital standards.
- Coordinates data collection, validation analysis, trending and benchmarking.
- Facilitates and monitors the Quality Improvement projects of the hospital.
- Participate in periodic compliance surveys on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
- Support the education and training on various quality initiatives to concerned staff.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient satisfaction survey tools.
- Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring clinical care pathways, guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Perform other relevant tasks assigned as requested by department managers/directors
Education/ Professional Qualification
- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Medicine or Nursing or Hospital Management or Administration from a recognized national or international university
Experience
- Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in the field of healthcare quality management or health care administration in a national or international accredited tertiary care hospital.
