Accounting Specialist III

Job Purpose :

Perform all accounting operations of payments and pay orders.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Issue payments and pay orders according to policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Ministry of Finance.
• Record expenses and payments to appropriate accounts.
• Post accounting journals from accounts payable system to general ledger.
• Ensure proper posting of salaries journals to general ledger.
• Prepare periodic reports related to accounts payable section activities.
• Follow all Hospital’s financial policies and procedures.
• Respects patients and their families to promote a Patient-Centered Care culture.
• Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Perform other duties related to the job as required.

Job Qualifications and Experience

Minimum or Required: 

-2 years Diploma in Accounting or Finance with 6 years of Experience.

-3 years Diploma in Accounting or Finance with 4 years of Experience.

Preferred:

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.. No Experience Required
