Accounting Manager - Fire & Safety Wholesale

Job Context: working as an Accounting ManagerYou will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, compliance with regulatory standards, and the efficient management of accounting processes.

The position involves:

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including ledger maintenance, revenue, payroll, and other accounting activities.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce accurate financial reports or statements.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinating and completing annual audits, improving systems and procedures for enhanced financial reporting and data accuracy.
• Setting up and overseeing accounting software and systems, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest financial legal requirements.
• Providing recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
• Managing and supervising the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.

We are Looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an accounting role with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and taxation regulations.
• Proven experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage and lead the accounting team.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
