Job Description

SDEC is inviting applications from young Saudi Accountants who have experience working in the same or similar industries. Our relentless focus on customers would not be possible without our Finance function which ensures that the bottomline is not compromised in our pursuit to be the preferred equipment provider. 
Principal responsibilities for this job are as below: 
  • Preparation of accounting entries by compiling and analysing account information and substantiates financial transactions by auditing of documents
  • Assist the Financial Controller with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting
  • Preparation and processing of payments, recording of Local / Overseas supplier invoices by matching the supporting documents such as Purchase Order etc. and verification of Advance requests
  • Recording and posting of all daily collection for amounts collected by Parts Cashier and Collectors from customers through cash, cheques, bank transfers etc.
  • Verification and processing of local cash purchases, and Petty Cash Expenses of Branches
  • Preparation and processing of financial documents like Import/Export Letter of Credit (L/C) documents and  Letter of guaranteed requests
  • Preparation of monthly schedules & Bank Reconciliation statements and processing of closing & other JVs
  • Checking and verification of expense reports, sales incentives and equipment processing 
  • Assist with financial and tax audits
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
We are looking for:
  • Seasoned Accountant with an experience of at least 5 years
  • Minimum qualification required in Diploma in Accounting
  • Skilled in Double-Entry Accounting, bank Reconciliation Statement and Financial Statement preparation   
  • Highly proficient in Written and Oral communication both in Formal English and Formal Arabic
  • Highly skilled in using MS Suite particularly, Excel, Office and Outlook
  • A team player who will effectively liaise with the Accounts team members based in HQ
