Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available forAccountant, Accounts Receivable, Report to,Section Head, Accounts Receivable located in Riyadh.  


Job purpose:


Maintains and follows up day-to-day operations in Accounts Receivable Section and to make sure billings and customer collections are up to date. Co-ordinates with sales, logistics and other teams, review account information and credit history, corrects discrepancies, and ensure that customer accounts are properly reconciled. Makes sure that company policy and procedures are properly complied with.


Role responsibilities:


  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
  • Process invoices, and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods/services rendered.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Contacting customer on day-today basis to discuss their accounts, dues and overdues.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing and collections issues.
  • Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
  • Working with sales department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
  • Generating reports and statements for internal use.
  • Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.

Qualification and Requirements:


  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • 4+ years’ experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting in Finance departments for simialr role.
  • Experience with SAP ERP.

  • Good analytical skills for reviewing financial reprots
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Willing to learn and implement the learnings
  • Problem solving, ability to articulate
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
