Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, efficient, and reliable Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks, including preparing financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the organization’s overall financial health. This role requires strong analytical skills, a good understanding of accounting practices, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions and Recordkeeping:
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, including adjustments and reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy in all financial reports and maintain organized documentation.
2-Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, tracking purchase orders, and scheduling payments.
- Handle accounts receivable, generate invoices for clients, and monitor timely collection of payments.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
3-Bank Reconciliations:
- Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure accurate cash flow management.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between the bank records and internal accounts.
4-Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Reports:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analyses to aid in decision-making.
- Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll, including calculating salaries, deductions, taxes, and other employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
5-Budgeting and Forecasting Support:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts by providing historical data and analysis.
- Monitor expenses and analyze variances to support budgetary compliance.
6-Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing required documents and information.
7-Tax Preparation and Reporting:
- Assist in preparing tax returns and other government reporting requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of taxes and adherence to all tax laws and regulations.
8-Cost Analysis and Financial Planning:
- Conduct cost analysis to assist management in cost control initiatives.
- Provide insights into cost-saving opportunities and financial efficiency.
9-Documentation and File Management:
- Maintain organized and secure records of all financial transactions and documents.
- Ensure all financial records are easily accessible and comply with regulatory standards.

- Apt in handling financial tasks like budgeting, planning, and calculating variance which reduces business expenses.
- Adroit soft skills to enable fluent in-house operations and maintain strong partner relationships.
- An analytical personality, apt in understanding data by investigating the interplay between various information.
- Reporting Skills
- Ability to handle relevant software like Microsoft Suite for efficient preparation of reports and statements.
Familiarity with tax preparation software and procedures.
Experience in financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
