Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a Site Civil Engineer to oversee construction projects and ensure they align with design specifications, budgets, and timelines. This role requires supervising site activities, managing resources, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution from inception to completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with design plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Supervise on-site activities, monitor progress, and manage project resources.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards and safety regulations.
  • Review blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and site documentation.


Skills

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable University.
  • 5-7 years of experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
  • Professional certification (e.g., P.E., PMP) is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  •  Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
  •  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  •  Fluent in French, English is a plus.
  •  Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
