Nair Systems is currently looking Warehouse Storekeeper/Supervisor for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
Experience Required:
The scope of work shall not be limited to the below:
· Inventory Management.
Monitoring stock levels: Ensuring there is an appropriate amount of inventory at all times, preventing both overstock and stockouts.
Inventory control: Managing the tracking and movement of goods using inventory systems (such as barcode scanning or RFID).
Stock replenishment: Ordering new stock or coordinating with suppliers when inventory levels run low.
· Staff Management.
Scheduling and supervising: Ensuring proper staffing levels by creating work schedules and supervising daily tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping goods.
· Receiving and Shipping Goods.
Receiving shipments: Overseeing the arrival of goods, inspecting items for damage, and ensuring that orders match shipping documents.
Logistics coordination: Ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of goods, working closely with logistics teams and external carriers to meet deadlines.
Packaging: Ensuring goods are properly packaged and labeled for shipment, following company standards and regulations.
· Warehouse Organization and Layout.
Space optimization: Organizing warehouse space efficiently to maximize storage capacity while ensuring safe and easy access to products.
Inventory placement: Deciding where goods should be stored based on factors like size, weight, frequency of orders, and type of product.
Equipment maintenance: Ensuring that all equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, etc., are well-maintained and working properly.
· Safety and Compliance.
Safety protocols: Ensuring warehouse safety by enforcing safety rules, conducting regular safety training, and making sure that all equipment is compliant with safety regulations.
Health and safety inspections: Conducting routine checks to identify hazards and ensure the warehouse complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Compliance with regulations: Making sure the warehouse complies with local laws, industry regulations, and company policies (such as OSHA regulations or handling hazardous materials).
· Technology and Systems Management.
Warehouse Management System (WMS): Managing and utilizing software to track inventory, orders, and shipments, optimizing warehouse operations.
Data analysis: Analyzing operational data to identify areas for improvement, such as order fulfillment speed, efficiency, or potential bottlenecks.
· Customer Service.
Order accuracy: Ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and shipped on time.
Problem resolution: Addressing any customer concerns related to shipping errors, damaged goods, or delays in processing.
· Budgeting and Cost Control.
Managing expenses: Overseeing operational costs related to labor, equipment, and utilities, and working to keep costs within budget.
Resource allocation: Ensuring the proper allocation of resources to maintain operational efficiency while minimizing waste.
· Reporting and Communication.
Reporting to upper management: Keeping senior management updated on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and shipping accuracy.
Collaboration with other departments: Coordinating with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations and meet company objectives.
