This is a branch based customer facing role focused on servicing, meeting and greeting customers upon branch entry, direct clients to appropriate channels while focusing on digital activation and producing quality referrals to key business areas. 

The role holder should also focus on migration of transactions from teller area into lower cost channels.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain operational standards and efficiency and minimise operational risk.
• Outward clearing cheques are processed on timely basis
• ATMs, Treasury & Cash Handling when required
• Receive cash deposits in LCY and FCY and detect forged from genuine
• Pay cash and process relative vouchers after verifying customer’s signature
• Prepare and deliver cash bundles to chief cashier in order to keep his/her cash drawer within set cash holdings limit
• Check SFE/HUB totals and perform cash balancing during the day (Midday Balancing)
• Count vouchers and perform day end balancing
• Greet and answer queries from customers entering the branch
• Effectively educate and guide the customers to enhance the usage of the bank’s alternative delivery channels
• Attend and handle all customers’ requests and queries 
• Ensure compliance with Group policies to include money laundering deterrence and local regulations and any laws / operating procedures connected with business areas of responsibility.
