Job Description
Apt Resources is now seeking a dedicated and skilled Transformer Oil Expert to join our Client's team. As a Transformer Oil Expert, you should have extensive experience in transformer oil chemistry, testing, and interpretation, along with a strong background in laboratory management and quality assurance. This role plays a key part in upholding our high standards and delivering exceptional services to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Update and manage the technology used for testing and sample preparation.
- Address technical queries from clients.
- Identify minimum stock levels for consumables and prepare requisitions.
- Ensure the effective implementation of ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Coordinate instrument calibration and schedule preventive maintenance.
- Monitor laboratory equipment performance and update Control Charts as needed.
- Revise analysis Work Instructions based on the latest international standards.
- Oversee test operations, troubleshoot issues, and report findings.
- Participate in internal and external audit programs.
- Act as a referee for non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.
- Commission new laboratory instruments and manage relevant documentation.
- Troubleshoot laboratory instrument issues and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Train laboratory technicians on new instruments and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and smooth sample testing in compliance with applicable standards.
- Analyze oil analysis results and provide technical recommendations to clients.
- Develop mitigation plans for risks identified in related processes.
- Report daily activities to the Laboratory Operations Manager/Technical Leader.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training provided to employees.
- Assess and manage staffing requirements for the laboratory.
