You will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of our customers' data & analytics infrastructure both on-prem and cloud. You will enable continued innovation and progress within the infrastructure through research and development. You will help and support the execution, test and roll-out of solutions. As a member of this team, you will be able to solve challenging engineering problems across a broad range of customers.
We are looking for a committed, competent and solution-oriented Technical Sales Manager who will drive sales growth through a combination of technical expertise, strategic planning and customer / vendor relationship management. This position requires availability for relocation to Qatar & Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the customer base and extends the global reach
- Possess a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products or services being sold, and effectively communicate these technical details to potential clients.
- Meet with potential clients, build and maintain long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
- Sell cloud products and services to new and existing clients
- Work on an end-to-end sales cycle with a full cloud adoption lifecycle on multi-cloud services
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners and clients
- Ensure that company quotas and standards are met by holding check-ins with the sales team to set objectives for the day and to monitor progress
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
- Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
