Key Job Accountabilities
• Implementing the Construction Surveillance Program for subsea operation and installation to confirm that construction activities are compliant related approved specifications and procedures; work procedure, QHSE documents etc.
• Assist share resources team and PMT with planning, procedure review and technical support of matters involving Subsea, ROV, pipeline and cable lay operation
• Assist share resources team and PMT with planning, procedure review and technical support of matters involving Subsea installation, and flexible product installation.
• Acts as the focal point between the operator and the contractor particularly for offshore SIMOPS and PTW interface.
• Trained and qualified as COMPANY host for endorsing PTW
• Participates in the development of all work documents to ensure that all parties have a clear understanding of subsea construction activities
• Responsible for the emergency response and incident reporting for DCIs and treatment protocols.
• Undertakes daily walk-through observations of operational areas, to check on progress, safety and housekeeping.
• Attend daily vessel shift meeting
• Ensures that any events evaluated during Risk assessment processes, or that are raised during safety meetings, are stewarded and closed prior to the start of each critical scope.
• Promote COMPANY safety and quality expectations at worksite
• Keep detail dairy covering offshore activities and contribute to project lesson learnt program.
• Participate in root cause investigation and incident investigation for subsea construction activities
Qualifications
• Demonstrate extensive experience on DSV/ CSV and pipelay Barge.
• Preferable with DMT certification and competency as client dive representative
• OPITO approved BOSIET and Medical for offshore assignment
Knowledge and Key Skills
• Minimum 10 years experience in offshore construction (pipelay and subsea installation vessel) and ROV operation, of which at least 5 years as technical foreman /shift supervisor onboard DP2 DSV/CSV.
• Broad knowledge on international ROV and diving standards and regulations.
• Up to date knowledge on industry subsea construction and pipeline techniques.
• Good experience with Pipelay/Cable/Umbilical lay
• Broad knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with offshore greenfield and brownfield modifications and working within a gas production facility.
