You should have a passion for Business and Economics and the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies that motivate and encourage children to want to learn. The Business and Economic Department is a large and growing team. This position has been generated from growth in student numbers.In September 2025, there will be close to 600 students in the Department and six members of full-time staff. At Key Stage 4, students follow the syllabus for the Edexcel IGCSE Business and CIE Economics. At Key Stage 5, we offer both Edexcel Business and Edexcel Economics as international A-Levels. The Business and Economics Department also offers a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities, including trips, the Investment Society and Key Stage 3 Enrichment through Enterprise Days and Financial Literacy Clubs.All our classrooms are equipped with interactive smartboards and displays; all students are furnished with an iPad upon entry, and all staff and students use Google Classroom.About youAs a Business and Economics teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a full range of Business and Economics classes. The ideal candidate will be an inclusive and dynamic teacher with a deep passion for Business and Economics who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues. You will be able to inspire and motivate our students, apply a range of teaching strategies, and help foster a lifelong love of Business and Economics. You must have qualified teacher status with a specialism in Business or Economics. We are a British international school, and all of our lessons are taught in English.
