About the job Switchgear Design Engineer (6 months)
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in switchgears

  • Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication).
  • Design and develop switchgear systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications for safety and performance.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to optimize switchgear designs for efficiency and reliability under various load conditions.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of switchgear equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on switchgear systems, identifying potential issues and implementing timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate switchgear solutions into larger electrical systems, enhancing overall functionality.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and operation manuals for future reference.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and field personnel on switchgear operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in switchgear systems to enhance performance and innovation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential hazards associated with switchgear operations.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality materials and components for switchgear production.
  • Design and specify switchgear systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct detailed electrical load calculations to determine the appropriate switchgear ratings for various applications.
