Job Description

Position Summary:
The Senior Lead Construction Manager oversees and directs the construction phase of large-scale oil and gas projects. This role ensures seamless project execution by coordinating all aspects of implementation, ensuring compliance with engineering designs, budgets, schedules, and stringent safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop and implement construction schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, line manager, and planning team to achieve timely task completion.
  • Oversee daily construction activities at the project site.
  • Ensure all work aligns with project specifications, design drawings, and industry standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings, including weekly updates and monthly review sessions, to maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Scrum Master meetings during critical execution phases.
  • Lead and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.
  • Ensure proactive planning for the availability of necessary materials, equipment, and resources.
  • Optimize resource allocation to meet project requirements efficiently.
Risk Management
  • Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Address project challenges efficiently to minimize delays and disruptions.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare and present progress reports, including schedules, cost tracking, and quality metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of construction activities, modifications, and project changes.
  • Track and manage team timesheets to ensure proper cost allocation for each project.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance
  • Enforce safety protocols in accordance with HSE regulations and client requirements.
  • Conduct safety audits in collaboration with client and company representatives to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with required quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform regular inspections and testing to identify and address quality issues promptly.
