Job Description

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to manage the online presence of Place Vendôme Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and managing social media strategies that enhance the mall’s visibility, engage visitors, and promote events, retailers, and attractions. You will work closely with the marketing team to create exciting and targeted campaigns that drive foot traffic and improve the mall's reputation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Social Media Strategy & Management:
    • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the mall’s marketing objectives.
    • Manage all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) ensuring timely, relevant, and engaging content.
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, adjusting campaigns for optimal results.
  • Content Creation:
    • Create original and high-quality content, including posts, stories, reels, videos, and graphics.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and retailers to produce content that promotes the mall’s events, shops, and services.
    • Work with photographers, videographers, and designers to create engaging visuals. 
  • Community Engagement:
    • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and monitor conversations on social media platforms.
    • Develop relationships with local influencers and bloggers to increase brand reach and visibility.
    • Implement contests, giveaways, and interactive posts to foster community participation
  • Advertising & Promotions:
    • Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms to drive targeted traffic to the mall.
    • Monitor ad performance and budget, ensuring ROI and optimal ad placements.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track and report on social media performance, using analytics to recommend improvements.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, platform updates, and social media innovations to keep strategies current.
  • Event Promotion:
    • Support the marketing team in promoting in-mall events, sales, promotions, and seasonal activities.
    • Provide live social media coverage for events and activities to boost engagement and attendance.

Job Specification:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the retail, hospitality, or entertainment sectors.
  • Experience working with social media tools and analytics platforms like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Creativity: Strong creative thinking to produce innovative content and campaigns.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and grammatically accurate copies.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and analytics to measure content success and optimize future campaigns.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and mall tenants to align social media efforts.
  • Multilingual: Fluency in both English and Arabic is highly desirable.
