The Supply Chain Senior Manager monitors the company's supply logistics processes and chain strategies and to implement process improvement techniques to maximize the staff's productivity and optimal performance. To coordinate with suppliers and third-party vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining stable business relationships with distributors. The position also identify inconsistencies in supply chain operations, ensure the adequacy of stock inventories, implement quality control procedures, and analyzing industry trends to identify business opportunities, meeting consumer demands and public needs.
Establish the short and long-term strategy for the division, translate it into business plans with objectives and performance indicators and report on the progress of activities against those plans to measure success to support the achievement of PIH’s strategic objectives.
Build and lead a motivated, engaged and competent manpower throughout the division, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
Recommend an optimum organization structure for the division in coordination with N-1 and the Human Resources, to ensure efficient and effective workflow of operational processes and optimal utilization of resources.
Collaborate with Human Resources in the development of the division’s manpower plan to ensure timely and best-of-class delivery of tasks.
Prepare and recommend the division’s budget in alignment to the respective annual business plan and ensure proper cascading into departmental budgets.
Identify systems, implement and manage performance metrics (KPI) for depots to supply for healthcare demands.
Lead the daily forecast by facility and flow type for inbound volume and storage and SKU utilization.
Lead sourcing strategy to drive savings through RFPs, volume consolidation, and revise commercial agreements.
Manage integrated ERP system, data integrity and analysis.
Monitor current category market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges and opportunities.
Develops key performance measures for chosen suppliers and negotiate on multiple variables to award longer-term strategic contracts that result in significant cost reduction and improved service levels.
Reduce inventory by utilizing the newly develop rescheduling tools base on the output of MRP.
Establish stability and metrics program for monitoring functional product quality, allowing preemptive action to reduction in reagent activity.
Manage the development, implementation of and compliance to business unit policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to ensure an efficient and effective operation.
• Strong Knowledge of the healthcare clinical industry.Excellent knowledge of supply chain and operations (both digital and traditional).Good knowledge of ERP solutions specifically for warehouse management.Experience of program and project management approaches.Experienced analytical skills, ideally aligned to e-commerce experience and knowledge.Highly competent in value engineering and performance improvement.Strong negotiation skills, strong contractual and commercial competence.Specialist knowledge of end-to-end supply chain.Ability to effectively manage simultaneous tasks.Proven track record of project delivery skills.Substantial experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
